Fee Waivers:
Bozeman Senior Center members wishing to celebrate a 50th Wedding Anniversary (or higher) and/or a 90th Birthday (or higher), may use the Senior Center. The building rental fee will be waived.

Charges for use of the kitchen and security fees will still be assessed. Coffee Pots and Punch Bowls - $15.00

Building Use Fees:

Basement Meeting Room	Minimum $45.00 - ($15.00/hour)
Upstairs Meeting Room	Minimum $45.00 - ($15.00/hour)
Dinining Room and Lounge Group up to 75 people Group of 75 - 150 people Groups of 150 and over	(Capacity being 300 people) $20.00/hour (minimum rental fee of $60.00) $30.00/hour (minimum rental fee of $90.00) $40.00/hour (minimum rental fee of $120.00)
Board Room	Minimum $30.00 - ($10.00/hour)
Recreation Room	Minimum $60.00 - ($20.00/hour)

 

 

Kitchen Use Fees (With Building Rental):

Kitchen Use - $35.00 (Kitchen is only available after 2:00 p.m. Monday -Friday or on weekends and does not include use of pots, pans, or dishwasher and they are not available to rent) This kitchen is a licensed commercial kitchen, approved through the County Sanitation office.

Rental Deposit Required:

A $45.00 deposit at the time of booking, will be required to reserve the Senior Center building for any meeting or event. If cancellation of the event occures within 60 days of the scheduled event, the refund is non-refundable.

Security Fees

Building use after the regular work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays or weekends will require a monitor or security fee at the rate of $9.00/hour for the actual time the building is in use. (A fee for the use of other equipment or services not covered by thus schedule, shall be determined by the Center's Director.)

1. Senior citizen activities take precedent over all other uses for the building.'
2. Reservations for building use will be made through the Senior Center Director.
3. Contracts for building use are to be made in advance. Date is reserved when a $45.00 deposit is received, payable to the Bozeman Senior Center.
4. All organizations using the Center facility on a regular basis are to have contracts. Contracts must be for the current year and updated annually.
5. Building monitors will be hired by the Center on an as-needed basis.
6. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the building.
7. Senior Center building has been designated “No Smoking,” inside of the building.
8. No dogs are allowed in the Senior Center building.
9. Agencies or individuals renting the Center are responsible for clean-up of space used and for breakage or damages that may occur. If satisfactory clean-up isn’t done, deposit will be retained.
10. Liability – The City of Bozeman and the Senior Social Center cannot assume liability for loss of personal items.
11. Fifty (50) percent of building rental fees are submitted to the City of Bozeman. The other fifty (50) percent of rental fees are retained by the Bozeman Senior Social Center.
12. Payment of fees for building use and monitor fees are to be paid-in-full within two weeks of the date the building was used.

______  Vacuumed lounge area, if needed. (Vacuum is in storage closet under the stairs in dining room.)
______  Place tables in chairs back in the dining room roughly as they were when you came in.
______  Rearrange furniture in lounge area, roughly the way it was when you came in.
______  Turn off lights throughout the building.
______  Lock the front doors.
______ Return key to Senior Center and get deposit fee back.

Dining Room Floor Maintenance Policy

We are very proud of our new hardwood dining room floor and the new ceramic tile in the food service area.  With your help,  we can preserve this new floor and keep it looking great for many years to come.

When you are using the Senior Center building,  please observe the following:

1. Please,  no rugs or mats are to be used on the floor. 
2. Please,  do not take the  chairs or sofas from the lounge area into the dining room.   Pulling these will cause scratches to the floor.
3. Please,  no plants are to be taken from the lounge area into the dining room.
4. No dance wax can be used on the floor.
5. If there are spills,  please wipe them up immediately,  only with water.   Do not use soap,  or any other kind of floor cleaner.
6. When setting up tables and chairs,  please do not pull the tables across the floor, to avoid scratches.
7. To clean up the dining room floor area after you have used the building,  please use the dry mop to dust the floor.   Do not put any kind of cleaner on the mop.

 

If there is damage to the floor while you rented the building,  you will be charged a minimum of $300.00 to help with repair and maintenance.
