The Bozeman Senior Center, located at 807 N. Tracy, Bozeman, Montana is a beautiful community center offering something of interest to all.  We have a membership of over 1700 seniors from Bozeman and the surrounding area.  Our mission is to meet the current needs of seniors through a wide array of social, educational, health care, and nutritional services for individuals over the age of fifty.  

These services include various exercise programs, the noon meal served in the Center each day, Meals-On-Wheels delivered to homebound seniors in our community, bingo and card parties, a carpenter shop, day trips and longer trips both nationally and  internationally, a Fall Festival and a Summer in the Park celebration every year.

We celebrated the 20th Birthday of our senior center building in May, 1999.  Since the building was built, through a city bond issue in 1977, three additions have been completed, the first added much needed administrative space.  The second expanded our dining/activity room, so we can  now seat 300 people comfortably for meals.  Through additional expansion projects a new fitness/exercise center, a computer learning center, and most recently, a beautiful recreation  room and library have been completed.  We now offer at least 10 hours a week of exercise classes led by very qualified instructors.  Our new computer center has thirteen IBM compatible computers online for e-mail and Internet access.  The computers are available both for individual use and for one-on-one instruction.  The new recreational room provides two excellent billiard tables, a library where used books are for sale, and room for meetings and special events.

Our Center is supported in part through city and county funds.  The greatest source of  funding for the Center is through our fund-raising projects, grants, memorials, charitable gifts, and an Endowment Fund established  in 1998.
