Health & Wellness issues are addressed in a variety of ways by the Bozeman Senior
Center. General health of our population has been improving with senior citizens
enjoying more and more active and physical lifestyles.
Blood Pressure checks are done free every Wednesday at 12:30 pm in the Senior Center lobby area. Flu Shots are given by the Gallatin County Health Department every Fall at the Senior Center. The cost for shots can be paid by Medicare. Watch the Monthly Schedule for the specific date. Foot Clinics with foot massage and toe nail trimming are the 3rd and 4th Mondays of each month, by appointment. Call the Senior Center for an appointment. Medical Equipment for short term individual use is loaned free of charge by the Senior Center. This includes: canes, walkers, crutches, raised toilet seats, shower chairs, commodes, wheelchairs, as well as mescellaneous other assistive equipment. Blood Profiles and Breast Exams are done quarterly, the Monthly Schedule will give the specific date. Blood profiles provide cholesterol reading, cell counts, PSA,s etc. Breast exams are done free in conjunction with Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. Fees for Health and Wellness services are listed on the Fee Schedule or may be obtained by contacting the Senior Center.
