Activities:     Current Activities  
Daily activities include billiards, lunch, puzzles, and games.   Crafts, cards, walking and exercise, movies, bingo and musical
events are often scheduled as well.   Income tax assistance is usually available from February to April by appointment.

Nutrition Services:     Monthly Menu 
Nutritious noon meals and Meals-on-Wheels are served Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Meals are not available
on Tuesdays, Weekends and Holidays unless for special events.  

Reservations for meals are requested one day in advance, please call 388-4711.  A  $3.25 per person donation is suggested
for individuals over age 60,  $5.00 for persons under age 60.

Volunteers deliver Meals-on-Wheels to homebound individuals in the Belgrade city limits.  Weekend meals are available upon
request.  Also, frozen meals may be delivered on Fridays for the weekend.  Meals may be picked up by caregivers for persons
living in the outlying Belgrade area.  Call  388-4711 to become a Meals-on-Wheels delivery volunteer.

Transportation:
Do you need a ride?  Watch for a '93 GMC conversion van with the license plate NDARIDE driving around Belgrade giving
seniors a ride to the center.  Please call ahead (388-4711) so rides can be coordinated between the driver and all riders.  A
donation of $1 is suggested for each rider.

Also, remember that Galavan serves the Belgrade area on Tuesdays and on Fridays for persons wishing rides in the Belgrade
city limits.

The van and driver is also available for special outings, with the cost based on number of passengers and distance traveled.

Fundraising Activities:
A Fish Fry is scheduled the third Friday of each month from 5 to 7 p.m.
Craft sales, Bake sales, Rummage sales, Raffles, and Pancake Breakfasts are also scheduled at various times.

Wellness Services:
Blood pressure checks are available monthly.  Flu shots are scheduled every autumn and are given by the Gallatin County Health
Department.  Costs for flu shots may be billed to Medicare or Medicaid.  A limited supply of medical equipment such as walkers,
wheel chairs, shower benches, crutches, etc are available to seniors only on a free loan basis.

Membership:    Current Newsletter
Membership is open to people of all races, creeds, and cultures, age 50 and older.  To become a member, pick
up a registration form at the front desk, fill it out and pay the annual fee of $10.00 per year.  The fee supports the operating budget,
is voluntary and activities are open to members and non-members alike.  Members may receive reduced rates for costly programs
as they are added to the activity calendar.

Organization: 
The Belgrade Senior Center has a Board of Directors, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Historian. 
The Center is a member of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce.

Gifting:  
The Belgrade Senior Center accepts individual donations, gifts of endowment, stocks, bonds, property, memorial gifts
or any tax deductible gifts.  A grateful thank you to all of you who support our Friendship Club/Senior Center through your generous
donations and memorials.

Funds:  
The Belgrade Senior Center receives financial support from the United Way of Gallatin County, grants, membership dues,
and city and county funds.

Building Rental:  
The Belgrade Senior Center offers the building for rent to private parties, meetings, anniversaries, family or group
functions.  Call 388-4711 for more information and to schedule reservations.
